Service Description

My sessions are based on Cognitive Behavioural Principles and techniques which are, to work through and transform deeply held patterns of conditioning and limiting beliefs so that you can find ease, restore wellbeing and live a more free and authentic life in the present. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a psycho-social intervention that focuses on changing unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and behaviours, improve emotional regulation and create a bunch of coping strategies to solve and face difficulties as well as achieve our goals. This is a hands on approach that requires both the therapist and client to be invested in and willing to actively participate, working as a team to identify the problems and come up with strategies and positive solutions for addressing them. Our behaviours are the result of our deeply held, core beliefs that are a result of family background, childhood, traumas and life events. If you are feeling physically, emotionally or mentally unbalanced, it can often be the result of holding of negative thoughts and patterns, not yet brought to your conscious mind. The goal of cognitive behavior therapy is to teach people that while they cannot control every aspect of the world around them, they can take control of how they interpret and deal with things in their environment. Helps with Anxiety, depression, panic attacks, addictions, eating disorders, anger, phobias, chronic pain or illnesses, divorce or breakups, grief or loss, insomnia, low self-esteem, 90 minutes R1400 120 minutes R1900
